Hi, I went to Bamboo Garden Massage & Spa in December, and it was money well spent. The staff are attentive and care about you. The massage was very helpful, and they know what they're doing here. If you're in Salem, visiting, or nearby, they are worth it.

It was OK for a massage. Was not thrilling. Was no warning for the 9000 degree hot towel placed on my back and he said something about cream then put something on my back that started burning like crazy and when asked he said heat cream. Too much time spent wiping down with towels and not enough massage time. Head massage felt like a scratch more than a massage. Not worth going back for, but they were very nice and it was clean and offered hot tea and water.

UPDATE TO FIRST REVIEW I returned to Bamboo gardens because of severe sciatic pain. She went above and beyond to try to allow me some relief from my pain. When it was apparent after the first hour that there was no improvement she put me back on the table for another 30 mins and continued working on the affected area. She did not charge me for the added time. It was clear this therapist was not doing this work for money she does it because she cares. My pain has since subsided.
