This place is truly a meat market. You run while all of Colorado Boulevard looks at your front, and every associate pig in Denver looks at your back.
There's something odd in the atmosphere at Bally's that makes it okay for people to act like they're in Las Vegas, if that's what you're looking for I would recommend Bally, if not, I'd look else where.
Allison speaks the truth; I've never made it all the way through a workout without being approached by at least one man, trainer or otherwise. I don't go to the gym to pick up men, and they shouldn't to pick up women, but that seems to be the attitude at Bally.
The crowds at peak hours make me scared for my life, especially if I'm using an elliptical. I don't need the Braveheart renactments before every machine change.
I understand the desire to pursue some one but when I'm working out is really not the time and the male members, and trainers, don't quite seem to get that.
I am no longer part of the athlete elite I once was, especially compared with the other Bally members. Because of this fact of life I was treated rudely not only by other members at the club, but by the staff and trainers as well. Aging is not condemnable but this club is.
I went to a trainer here to try and keep myself motivated but while i was doing lunges he was checking out the twenty five year old next to me. I was not impressed.
I am a middle aged woman trying to get back in shape. I came to Bally looking for a trainer to help and much as I love doing squats while my trainer hits on the 25-year-old two machines over, I wasn't impressed.
