Bally's Unresponsive to Complaints – This past year Planet Fitness was sold and so too were its memberships, to Bally's Total Fitness. Certain members received a letter, much like the old "Yellow Pages" inserts we received in the mail that required you to say "NO" and return it rather than it being a desire to accept an offer. Because Planet Fitness owed a credit to my wife, we never heard from the folks at Bally's regarding her account for some time. She later received a billing notice stating that she owed $30.00. Terrible billing, customer service – I have never been to Bally's and never signed up with Bally Total Fitness. I noticed I was receiving bills from Bally's this summer on my credit card, and called to complain and make sure this was no longer billed to me. I was assured that I would receive no further bills. I also asked to speak to a manager. They told me all management was on another line and they would have to call me back. No calls were ever received back from them.
