TERRIBLE, JUST AWFUL, HORRIBLE. Coming here was the most MONSTROUS, TRAUMATIC experience. This is NO JOKE. SHUT IT DOWN! this was the only option that would accept my insurance, I had no choice but to gratefully accept this option. that was until I was treated VERY poorly. nothing disgusts me more than the way this man has treated me as his patient. I was truly appalled and angry when my granddaughter came home and shared the traumatic experience she suffered during her visit with this dentist!. You see my granddaughter is African American with dreads. She is also a straight A student at one of the nearby Universities here in Winston Salem. This particular dentist had no sympathy for her. I am in agreement with all the others that stated that Dr. Ballinger is very different from the person, professional and DDS that he was 2 years ago. In the past I have recommended Chris to MANY people due to the level of professionalism, ability to actually care from his patients (regardless of behavior or disability) and the outstanding service provided by the entire team. I called to reschedule my appointment for my son and they made a very big deal about it and we do not miss appointments. The staff acts like they are dealing with prison inmates and have no respect for privacy. The dentist is in such a hurry that he is the rudest one in there. Hunting for new dentist today.

This dentist clearly has more patients than he can handle! I went in to have 2 fillings replaced. Dr Christopher Ballinger came in the room about 20 minutes after I sat n the chair opened my mouth and began administering shots. No dialogue about what he was about to do how the sedatives would make me feel. He left the room for about 20 more minutes. When he returned he put on his gloves opened my mouth and began to drill.
