Warning about Ballina Nature Resort We stayed 7 days with no issues, then booked 2 more nights online. Later that day, a man (not even the manager) came over abusive and aggressive in front of our 10-year-old, accusing us of not booking properly even after I showed the receipt. He lied about refunding us and came back being intimidating again. Completely unprofessional and not family-friendly. We’re taking it further with management and consumer affairs — just warning others to be careful who you’re dealing with there.

I booked this property and later found out there were major council works happening on-site — something that was never disclosed when I made the booking. After several phone calls, Colin advised me to cancel through Booking.com and said I’d only be charged a $50 administration fee. I did exactly that, and Booking.com confirmed they had contacted him. Since then, I’ve received no response at all — no reply to my email, no update, and no confirmation about the refund. The lack of communication has been incredibly frustrating. ... read more

Although we only stayed one night, the accomodation we had was brilliant for three of us. It was well equiped, clean and had everything you need. The camping ground was in a perfect location and the staff were friendly and helpful.
