Writing a review for opposing counsel is rare, but the lack of professionalism I witnessed from Ballard Spahr LLP warrants a clear warning. I was the opposing party in a recent case against them, which was ultimately settled. Even taking the adversarial nature of the legal system into account, their handling of the matter was shockingly poor. Borrower beware. If your lender is using them as counsel, they will charge you exorbitantly, not provide any type of back up to account for their billing and fail to be accountable. I would highly recommend you ask for other counsel!
