Eric, the head of therapies is a serious problem and brings down the entire institution. I'm unsure why people with such a disposition go into jobs that should involve care for another. He had little to no respect for our family member and showed no interest in figuring out how to help those with more challenging rehab needs. The physical therapy was great. Food tastes terrible. Not enough nursing staff. Waited more than an hour to go to the bathroom. Despite repeated attempts at using the call light. Asked for pain medication took more than an hour to receive. Several of the nurses were rude and inpatient with me. Facility was clean odor free. Over all three *** stars.
As a worker here i am so proud to be part of ballard rehabilitation every patient give us a good feedback and thanks us for ourwonderful hardwork and specially our therapist that they do a hard work and dedicate the time to make family happy in getting them back home..
This is my second time around Ballard. Last year (2016) I had "Missy", "Kendra", and "Daisy"... three Physical Therapy top ladies, for my left full knee replacement therapy; who besides the rest of great Ballard team working as a family together, saw my recovered knee ten months later. They were happy to see me fully recovered but I really want to let them know they are the ones who encouraged me to keep up with the program or my knee would not be working as well. My mother did not discharge with the supplies she needed like a camode or home health aid. The staff were not helpful in getting this although they should plan as part of discharge with all clients. Did not set up an in home support assessment either. DON did not return call when asked about this and Taylor hung up the phone when I was transferred from reception.
