I have a long list of issues with this place, but a big one would be we were all charged hundreds of dollars for a sewer issue, management explains it was a leak in the plumbing, as if that's supposed to justify why the cost was burdened upon the tenants.. they explain they will work with the city to get tenants future credits on their sewer utilities, but that does not help those who have moved out. Everyone who was overcharged HUNDREDS of dollars should be compensated, not just those tenants who chose to stay in this low q... read more

AVOID living here! Shady company running this place that hires shady managers. You won’t get your security deposit back no matter what you do. Many others issues while living here as well, just avoid, not worth the cost.

The building is fine but I can't get past the extra charges. We are overcharged for sewer and water to the tune of an extra $200-$300 every month so make sure you budget for that. In December we had ~3 days with no water and then no hot water due to an accident during construction. In the end we paid a MUCH higher bill for water that month. I've reached out to Avenue5 over and over and have been ignored. If you can afford the extra $ every month, look at one of our neighbor buildings with a pool or something.
