Too expensive for what you get. Paying for trash valet means the place always smells like garbage. Had a lot of break-ins in the garage without any communication from management. Staff turnover is constant and while the folks at the front desk are great, good luck ever getting ahold of a manager. When we moved out we were denied a final walkthrough after several requests. Glad to be done with this place.
I really enjoyed living at the Wilcox overall, especially because of its amazing location, though there are a few important caveats worth noting. During my time there, there were several security concerns, including a few break-ins and incidents of theft, with little visible response from management. While touring different apartment buildings for the right home for us, Jayren was so kind and helpful about laying out all our options at Wilcox. He did a great job of making sure we could make a fully formed decision on which apartment would be the best choice for us if we went here. He went above and beyond to make sure were able to get a tour scheduled in a timely manner at both this apartment and a sister apartment complex, so that we could make it down our list of places we wanted to tour. The main entrance smells like dog pee. Please get it carpet cleaned!!!
TLDR: Do not live here, you and your property are not safe. If I could give negative stars, I would. This is an Avenue5 managed property, a cursory Google search will tell you everything you need to know about who they are and why they have no business managing properties. The management team of The Wilcox is not only incompetent at running a large apartment complex but incapable of providing basic security for tenants and their property.
