I recently lived at Ballantyne Commons Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing from the very beginning. During my walkthrough, the apartment had old carpet, visible roaches, and dirty floors. I immediately brought this to the office’s attention. My experience at Ballantyne Commons was extremely disappointing and unsafe. Our unit tested positive for harmful mold spores after we raised multiple concerns. An independent inspector confirmed the issue, and the mold not only damaged our personal belongings but also created an unhealthy living environment. Instead of taking responsibility, management minimized the situation, claimed it was “limited,” and tried to hold us to early termination penalties even though the unit was proven uninhabitable.
