We have been attending Ballam swim school for about 18 months now and we love it. The class sizes are small of four students, the pool and air is always warm to keep the children comfortable, and the lesson structure is always consistent with a large focus on safety skills. Make up classes are available for the calendar year so you have plenty of time to use them. Highly recommend Ballam Park Swim School. My daughter has made incredible progress since starting here a year ago. Each teacher we have had has been amazing. They teach proper technique and are strict with water safety which has been so important for my daughters learning. They set high expectations yet are warm and friendly, building strong relationships with the kids abd show a real interest in their progress.
When we first started here it was really good and seemed to be run well by people that cared but after being here for a couple years we've definitely seen a decline in service. Very strict around make up classes which are impossible to get due to just how many kids they now have attending. Refusal of refunds if you can't obtain a make up class or even to have it carry over to the next term.
