Balken is fantastic. The crew is friendly, professional and hardworking. They gave me a much better price than I was quoted by another company for the same products. I am a happy camper.
Do NOT use this company. The guy they sent out to look at our roof had no idea what he was talking about when it came to our roof. He argued with us. We reached out to the manager to get a new estimate with a different person. Thats been 2 months ago haven't heard anything from them.
Balken helped us replace a roof on a house 10 years ago and were a pleasure to work with. Most recently on a different house after a hailstorm we had roofing companies scouring the neighborhood offering unsolicited advice on whether a new roof is needed. We asked for Balken’s help to confirm their findings, and they sent Steve out to provide an independent assessment. I had them come out and give an estimate on a new roof. Steve Williams, their estimator, came out and was not professional at all. He tried to talk us out of a metal roof, which is what we were set on. He argued with me and talk me the vents on my roof had fans in them, without even stepping the first foot on my roof. I have been in my attic and knew they weren't but he told me 3 times that they were and because he had 25 years of experience. I dropped the argument and moved on.
