An excellent introduction to the tastes of Croatia. The sand table method of brewing coffee was an experience that was quite enjoyable. A beautiful array of homemade desserts and Balkans were delicious. Dog friendly for visitors where a water dish is provided for them.
One of the owners Val is in one of the kindest and hospitable people I’ve ever met. He cares about the Balkan culture and shows it through the food he cooks. You can get it all here; some light entertainment with the Turkish coffee heated in the cezve, deliscious pastries and deserts, even teas or sandwiches. Highly recommend the Burek and coffee; as close at it gets to Balkans.
Man. The craftsman ship here is nuts. Val, the owner, is a private chef so everything from the cardamom-infused cold brew to the homemade beef bureks are top top notch. It’s in a different class of its own when I say “local cafes”. Amazing every time. I crave the bureks
