History Established in 1919. Company founder Paul E. Balise grew up on a farm in Hatfield, Massachusetts. In 1919 he purchased a welder and began fixing farm equipment and automobiles from his backyard garage. Then he opened the Hatfield Garage and became an associate Chevrolet dealer in Hatfield. In March of 1929 Paul moved to Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts and opened a Chevrolet dealership and Used Car Outlet in Chicopee. I went to go see a used suv there and the salesman Wade was extremely rude. I tried to explain the shaking/vibrating I felt with the suv on the highway and he mocked me, insisting I was driving on rumble strips or bumps, and must not know the difference. He talked to me as if I were an unemployed teenager, that doesn’t know a single thing about driving and/or finance. I can not say enough about how wonderful Ann is. I purchased my car from Balise VW about a month ago. I pretty instantly started experiencing issues. Typically this would leave me frustrated and annoyed... I mean who likes buying a new car and having an issue on day 2? Thank God that Ann was my service person who I got in contact with. Not only did she share my frustration but she promised to fix the issue and make it right... and she did just that. I have had to bring my vehicle back now for the third time to have the same issue resolved. I have been trying to contact service for two days with no answer or returned phone calls. Very poor customer service, quick to get your money with a new car but not so quick to provide you help when you need service. Look elsewhere!

I cant say enough about the service department and William Lancellotta I’m always treated well and they are always honest and upfront with me.....Andrew always takes very good care of my car and has recently worked very hard to solve a difficult intermittent problem...thank you!
