A bit on the expensive side but the food and service are top notch!
RecommendedWe had a late lunch today at The Baldwin Saloon. Bacon wrapped dates and chicken strips were the best I've ever had. Our server, Fernando, was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.
I've ate here several times, when in town. The food has always been amazing! Love the old building and paintings throughout.
Filet was cooked a perfect medium rare. Great atmosphere and historical feel inside. That’s a real person playing the piano, and she plays it great.
Awesome service, meal was superb, atmosphere was perfect -- everything we could hope! Highly recommend - 2nd time stopping as we were passing through - two for two! Was awesome both times!
The manager was incredibly rude. We left before we could even be seated.
Awesome place! It's in probably one of the oldest buildings in Oregon, built in 1876. Great atmosphere, and period old large oil paintings, but I would say most would be rated PG-13. The food exceeded my expectations, and it is heavy on steaks, seafood and pasta. Next time I'm in The Dalles I want to go back.
Food was freshly sourced, homemade bread, fresh halibut, amazing Caesar salad. Very reasonably priced with great service!
Service was great. I had the cod and it was over salted. The manager didn’t even bat an eye and there was 0 charge for the meal.
