We were very disappointed with many things at the property we rented which negatively impacted our overall experience. First off, after having paid ~$5000 for the week, we were amazed how CHEAP the property was stocked and the attitude of the property management company. The house supposedly sleeps 10 or more people and yet they provided 3 rolls of toilet paper for the entire house. BHIS was the best company we have rented from on the island and have been coming for over 25 years! The house was super clean, their communication was so great and so fast it was unbelievable! The small issue we had like a flat tire was taken care of immediately! We can’t wait to rent from them again, what a great rental company!
Renters beware, reviews do not tell the full story. We rented a home in August 2021 through Bald Head Island Services. The home was infested with cockroaches. I woke up with one crawling across my face. While I understand that bugs are common, I've never stayed in a rental that had this kind of infestation and certainly would not have picked the property had I know. I love renting from BHI Services!! They do a great job cleaning!! I rented Southern Brew the end of June and the house didnt have a toaster they sent a new toaster in less than an hour!! We are also renting Balvedine Labor day week. Love this home. We have rented from BHI Services for 3 years and I am happy with their services.
We rented a Condo, condo was fine. The cable was out(we did not know or request to fix it), I walked out of the shower with 2 people in my room. The maintenance guy said didn't she call you? We didn't receive a call back about this incident even after this happened, the maintenance guy apologized but its pretty spooky to have someone come into your place. You did not do your best on our rental!
