Lovely to stay at this elegant and historic inn. Peaceful atmosphere and sweet staff. We also enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel's bistro. Outdoor patio, gardens, and grounds were delightful. Deb & Jose (Bend,OR)

A beautiful evening and dinner at the Balch, one of my favorite places on the planet. A lovely folk music concert on the patio. Heaven on earth.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, restored old-time hotel in a small, rural Oregon town. It’s was very quiet, as we were the only occupants and had the entire hotel to ourselves. The lobby, parlor and rooms are fully restored and in excellent shape. A lot of love and effort has gone into this hotel. I would recommend going when the onsite restaurant is open (we missed it on a Tues). Looks like it’s very nice. Also FYI, our room had a bathroom but many do not (down the hall). We’ll be back.
