Good experience. Pre surgery appt. was very rushed. Waited a long time to see him then was given less than 5 minutes. Office front staff is great and verified insurance pre-approval thoroughly. Day of surgery was good- he told me everything that would happen step by step before he did it so I was not left surprised which was helpful.
Four hour round trip after confirming appointment, referrals and insurance only to be told they won’t accept the insurance. Cash and carry or there’s the door, no proper apology or compensation for the wasted day. Avoid this office like the plague.
This review incorporates information on my husband's and daughter's visits there. When my husband had teeth extracted and additional bone grafted to his jaw, he thought Dr. Balcerak did a great job. For the first extraction, several years ago, the staff seemed caring, although the billing was odd (everything up front then). Not a fan.
Was told over the phone that they could provide the treatment that I am after. During the visit, the nurse explained that they do not in fact offer what I need. This was of course after I had gotten the referral, taken the day off work for my appointment, and made my co-pay. After speaking with the nurse, I waited an hour for the doctor to come in. Turns out they scheduled my consultation at the same time Dr Balcerak was performing surgery. Unbelievably irresponsible and unprofessional.
He is an awesome Oral Surgeon. Getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted he made me feel comfortable and explained everything that was going to happen step by step!!! No complaints here!!
So pleasantly surprised! Went in for 2 extractions. I had worked myself into such an anxiety state worrying about the pain. He managed it so well, there was literally zero pain. The thing that took the longest (about 10 minutes) waswaiting for the novocaine to take. The extractions were done in under 5 minutes. Strongly recommend this doctor. Staff is excellent, patient, caring and professional, too. Thanx, guys!
He's very relatable and friendly, he's a pro at minimizing pain, he's fast; I highly recommend him, and have on several occasions. question #3: the dental assistant staffers are really friendly and comforting as needed, but the front desk staff isn't very welcoming. question #1: I haven't needed urgent apptmt
He was great.. I had to get my wisdom teeth out and being a high schooler, I was so nervous. He was very friendly and joked around me. My wisdom teeth pain was there but he did his best to make sure I was comfortable! He can get emergency scheduling in and is very flexible. Thank you Dr. Balcerak!!!
