I’m shocked by the above review, You don’t tell A EMPLOYEE to take all the time they need to grieve as a employee and then fire them for doing so, if you needed your employee back you ask them to come back not continue to tell them to “Take all the time You need!” So they do and then fire them! SHADY ALSO WHAT IS THE INDUSTERY STANDARDS ON GRIEVING? Does it also stipulate not paying your employees for their bereavement days? We just had an incredible experience working with Balcaen in replacing our steam boiler with a hot water system. I was extremely impressed with how creative the team was in finding radiators to match our house and in coming up with an installation plan that minimized damage. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any work involving a boiler.

Not an ethical or moral company at all. If small business is supposed to treat their employees like family then gods help anyone related to the owners. My father died in July of 2024. I was told to take whatever time I needed as family comes first. What a joke. On returning after a month, I was told my contract would not be renewed as it wasn’t a “good fit”. These guys did a great job, from a detailed costing, to an excellent explanation of the choices, right to a speedy install. Shout out to Omar on the sales end, and I appreciated Tom giving me a call as well to go over some last minute details and set expectations just before the install. Install was a new furnace and heat pump.
