RUDE, SHRILL OWNER I did not actually get a chance to stay at this dump down my block, I had the unfortunate and nasty pleasure of meeting its owner as I walked my 25-lb dog around the area. I have lived here for a while and have always noticed the dumpy-looking "Inn" down the street, it's window-dressings are decades old and crusty, the outside is themed in desert, dirt, and sort-of flowered. Loved It My husband two teenage kids and I stayed four nights at this bed and breakfast as part of our two week vacation to california. This was our last stop and it was perfect. First off the neighborhood that its located in is great. Hilcrest area of san diego has great shopping, restaurants and of course within walking distance to balboa..
Terrific service and location. This Inn is located on the northern end of Balboa Park with access to great shopping, dining, etc. The place is decorated in a unique style with each room having its own theme. We enjoyed our stay here.
