This is a must see... A great view of city.... Drive to the farthest south-west end of the park closest to 5 fwy. You will be looking onto the downtown skyline and the Coronado Bay. Find yourself a good spot where can lay down on a grassy spot frot with trees; where the road thru the park makes a large u-turn. Then sit back and watch as the large jets come in for a breathtaking landing at Lindberg Field. What a beautiful park with such a dense and diverse offering of important sights, from several art museums to an air and space museum, botanical gardens and Japanese tea garden, and international houses representing cultures from around the world. I never wanted to leave this place, it was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely check hours before you go, some places are only open on weekends.
Large park, large variety of food booths great for a date night with a nice scenery with long walk.
