I like the approach to providing financial advice, using a fee paid structure. I also think that they use a good approach to values investing, whether the emphasis is sustainability in order to protect the environment, or faith based values.
I think using a fee only financial advisor makes a lot of sense. That way, the advice given will be focused on me and my financial plan rather than suffer from the distraction of possible commissions for the financial advisor. Plus I like the fact that Balanced Rock has developed a niche in values investing, and for me faith based investing.
