I was referred to Balance Point for an ECoG after sudden hearing loss. The test ultimately could not be completed because an adequate seal could not be obtained, so it produced no usable diagnostic information on my affected ear. What was most frustrating was learning that my prior audiology records, which were available within the same health system, had already documented the problems obtaining an adequate seal in the ear. I been dealing with vertigo since June, I went (9/2) to balance point for several tests to be done, waiting on the results from my primary doctor. All the test performed was explained ahead of time. Got really dizzy when the test with the warm water was performed, but I guess they wanted me to be dizzy. Waiting on the results
