My kids have been coming to her for years and they love her. I love that she knows them and their personalities so well. I drive about 45 min to her location but its definitely worth it. Her receptionist (Anila) is very very sweet and kind as well.

Dr. Akin is such a wonderful, calm, nurturing presence. We appreciate her caring and compassionate personality. She truly tries to spend her time listening to anything you want to share or concerns you may have and is so reflective and thoughtful with her responses. Truly happy with her and her practice!
I drive an hour for Dr.Akin and I have to say she has been nothing but great since the day I met her. She does an amazing job with my two children and is always easy to get a hold of even after office hours. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
We have trusted Dr. Akin with care of or son since he was born. She is never overly aggressive with her treatment plans and always provides the standard of care, which is comforting to us and our 2 y.o. If and when we have concerns regarding his health, she and her staff are quick to respond. As far as pediatricians go, she is great.
