I had the worst experience with Balance Hair Studio. I paid Latina for a consultation prior to my appointment. ( I struggle with hair loss). During my consultation I expressed my concern for coverage and style versatility (mainly wanting to put it up in a ponytail). After Latina examined my hair she suggested options. Her suggestions were tracks (in the crown area for coverage) k tips & V tips. Latina explained to me that she did this on a client that had more hair loss than me. My hair came out really nice but the service was subpar. I wish she was more interactive and welcoming… I’m a naturally shy person so the first 30+ minutes of the service were very awkward, literal silence…. even after I had told her that it was my first time doing a silk press. It’s only after the dryer portion, that she asked a few personal questions but that was it.
