I own a rental unit in Manhattan and Steven is the only painter I use. His work is top notch and his pricing is very reasonable. In addition, I needed Steven to start working on short notice over a weekend, and he was able to meet me on the same day. I highly recommend Steven Bakur for any painting work.

Steven just finished a big job on the hallway on my floor of the coop I live in. He stripped the wallpaper, sanded, then painted the walls, ceiling and doors (3 different colors). He was very careful to also fill in cracks, etc. with compound and to spend a great deal of time touching up all the little details that makes things look perfect. I was incredibly impressed with Steve. He did an absolutely fantastic job painting the interior of my home. Not only did he remove the old wallpaper with precision and efficiency, but they also completed the entire project in a timely manner. The quality of their work is exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Let's start from the beginning: Steven was on time for our interview/site visit. He was helpful, flexible in his availability, had a good sense of the work involved. He was friendly and good tempered - and endeared himself to my client. His price was very reasonable. He had all the necessary insurances for NYC co-op buildings - and persisted through vacation season to get management approval. He planned ahead, brought over his ladder, etc., the day before.
