I liked that I never felt pressured to spend money on something I didn’t need. They were straightforward about the cost and the process, and when something was outside what they could handle, they were willing to point me in the right direction. They have their own registered process server, but they told me I could save money by having a friend serve the papers. Apparently, a registered server is only needed for certain types of documents.
The people there (Naydeli and Mirriah) were patient with me and made a stressful process feel a lot more manageable. They helped me get my documents organized and prepared based on the information I gave them, and they were very clear about what they could and could not do since they are not attorneys.
I originally contacted Bakersfield Divorce because I needed help with family court paperwork and honestly didn’t know where to begin. I tried to Chatgpt it myself, and it was a disaster. What surprised me was how much they actually help with. This isn’t just a place that does basic divorce forms. They handle paperwork involving custody, child support, legal separation, guardianship, and other family law matters too.
