I must admit that I was disappointed with the cake I received. The bakery graciously accepted a last-minute request, which was very kind, but unfortunately doesn’t make up for the cake itself. I asked for a traditional Black Forest cake, but requested the cherries be substituted for blueberries. The cake was overpowered by the icing and the icing was excessively sweet. I wanted a specialty cake made. I sent Marie a picture and it was even better than the picture. The cake was absolutely delicious. I love to support small businesses.
I spent days searching for a local baker who could make a sugar and dairy free wedding cake, and now this is the only place I trust for allergen friendly desserts. I've tried many local bakeries that supposedly cater to allergies only to literally throw $40 desserts in the trash because they're inedible. Excellent customer service and quick to respond! We ordered a cake for our 30 th wedding anniversary! The cake was beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend and will be ordering again!
