I was excited to see a new neurologist after moving back to east Texas from Austin. I was referred to Dr.Baker by my pcp to establish neurological care and possibly switch medications. Dr. Baker came in, (I stool up to shake her hand-nothing) immediately went to the computer, read over my history, told me I would take need to take medication the rest of my life. My son has had 4 total seizures in the past his last seizures wasn't the same as the others. He had no twitching of the arms and legs but was unresponsive at all. His arms were limp eyes stuck in one direction lips turned blue. He had to be placed on oxygen. It mimicked his other seizures other than the arm twitching. He was out of it for 8min when ems got to the urgent care he had thrown up foam and peed on him self. Came out of it in the ems van. Never in my life have I ever known a dr to be so incompetent to tell someone that if you think about having a seizure, you'll have one. She just wants a paycheck. You'd think better of a female dr, but nope.

Dr. Baker was the first doctor who actually listened to me and understood what to do to diagnose me properly. She Is a wonderful doctor and does her job well, and while others may see that as cold, she is merely straightforward and to-the-point, making sure you understand your diagnosis and what needs to be done to care for you. Since seeing her, my life has improved significantly, and I am on the track to being able to manage my health better because of her. Dr baker is very rude I’m 17 in im been have seizure for a while I went to Dr.Baker today for a check up in she told my that my life is missed up in I need to go to help she didn’t listen to nothing she talk over me Then she talking bout put me in the hospital yea no if u not going to listen why should I let u run tests on me for you to listen to the tests like Dr Baker should not be a doctor cause I thought u supposed to listen to us not run over the patient if your kid around the age of 5-17 do not go to her cause she do n... read more
