Good service, wood is a good price and the people there aren’t dreadful about helping with stuff, they cut my wood without any problem and were re assuring when picking through the wood, welcoming experience and will definitely visit again, Also layouts very nice and they have a wide selection of screws and bolts (wood to)

I've always received good customer service at Baker, even when I'm only putting in a small order. Their prices are comparable to or better than big box stores on many items, and the staff is knowledgeable—something you don’t often find at those large stores.

In this day and age just being the "local" business doesn't cut it. It's great that there is a strong clientele with the older generation, but rapore with the younger is as important. The customer service here is great, if you are a regular of this store for 20+ years. My experience is just grumpy men who don't make you feel welcomed. Today will be the last day I shop there, I would much rather pay more at home depot just to get friendlier staff.
