In this day and age just being the "local" business doesn't cut it. It's great that there is a strong clientele with the older generation, but rapore with the younger is as important. The customer service here is great, if you are a regular of this store for 20+ years. My experience is just grumpy men who don't make you feel welcomed. Today will be the last day I shop there, I would much rather pay more at home depot just to get friendlier staff. The Baker family and staff are a stable in our community. Everyone is so nice and helpful and the quality of materials is so much better than the big chain stores. If you have a question, They provide prompt 1 on 1 service and help without wasting your precious time. I always build with Baker and you should too if you want straighter wood, faster service, and better quality materials at competitive prices for all your building needs!
