UPDATE...The owners reply is 100% lies. He said he would do all that and never did a thing. Every visit, and there were many, was just another excuse or lie. Never got a thing, he got my Mills canvas and a deposit. Don't do business here. Total scam, just read the other reviews. I my case he stole the mooring cover i brought him to make some alterations. Excellent job with my boat took great care of my seats and overall was a good price with a fair wait time I will most definitely come back here for my boat next time
Time is NOT of the essence for Baja Canvas. Just like the other reviews, they do string you along and a 1-month job turned into a 6 month job when it was finally complete. Overall, the work done fairly well. When they first installed our top glass and dash board cover, we had to point out about seven major poor workmanship issues, so this is what took another 2.5 months to resolve. They did fix the issues, but again, if you are in hurry, or want true workmanship, I would not recommend Baja.
their price beat 5 other shops by a large margin, i was concerned that i “would get what i paid for” regarding the quality for my bimini top, 2 windows, helm cover and cushion cover. i was extremely pleased with the craftsmanship and quality! only giving 4 starts because communication and scheduling were a concern. if you can handle that, these guys are the best with quality and cost and i would use them again.
I had a very disappointing experience with this individual. It seems he lacks a fundamental understanding of good business practices. He consistently failed to honor his commitments and, even worse, mishandled my vessel without proper repairs. He often took shortcuts, hiring friends, family, or individuals from TJ, all while pocketing my hard-earned money and disappearing for an entire year.
