Random fixed $20 trash fee in addition to another trash fee still added. Numerous hallway lights the throughout the floors, especially building one have been out for months posing a safety issue, which I had brought up to the front desk staff. Faulty trash chute button sontenants leave their trash bags piled up in the trash room and main elevator is often out of service and rarely a notice of when it comes be back on. Now building is under Chaper 11.
Update Sep 2025 New admin, same neglect. The place looks great on a tour, but issues start once you need help from the management office. They'll listen, but a solution can take forever (if you get one at all-I'm still waiting). So sad that a great place, in a great location is so badly managed. I really hope it gets better before my lease ends so I don't need to move. One of our ongoing, never solved problems: the garage gate. If I had the option of giving zero stars I will have done that since I applied 7 days ago for a leasing with The Reed. After getting so many issues on incomplete documents for me to sign and the team working with my personal documentation not truly looking thru documents that were already completed. At the end to just decline my application because of a missing sign form. This is, without question, the worst apartment building I’ve ever lived in. The noise is constant and impossible to escape—thin walls mean you hear every argument, TV show, and phone call your neighbors have. Things are always breaking, and when they do, good luck getting them fixed. The package room is a disaster zone where boxes pile up like junk in a hoarder’s garage, and the trash room overflows so badly garbage spills into the hallway.
