We have always been very happy with each trip here. One member of our party ate from the German menu which is never a bad choice. I was disappointed with their decision not to have the gift card promotion that they have had every year for the holiday season. It is basically $100 in gift cards for $75. And we had always gotten $400 or $500 each year. Have loved this place for decades. We had our wedding lunch here in 2002. The menu is a little uneven over so many years, but the service is great; they always make you feel at home. In the summer the Tiki bar is welcome as we travel with the dogs and they can join us there. Music used to be better than it was yesterday. But my fish sandwich and draft beer were a perfect finish to the Thanksgiving weekend.
4.6 stars. Loved it. Great appetizers. Wish beer selection a bit longer. Would have loved to sit hear with my steamers crew. Good folks at the bar. Friendly strangers. I can see why locals love it. Worth the 1 hr drive
Came in for Dinner lastnight for the first time. Made reservations online because I wasn't sure how busy it would be, but we were early enough that there was no wait. We got a pitcher of White sangria. It was one of the best sangrias I have ever had! I started with Lobster bisque and hubby had split pea soup. Both were awesome.
