I had a lot of experience with dinning in a multiple Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants including all Seattle area restaurants. I have never seen a restaurant like Bahel serving quality food with consistent taste of delicious. All the servers are amazing and great customer service experience. just wow. My goodness!!!
I was really excited to try this place, especially the beef samosas, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I visited Sunday, October 4th around 7pm and immediately felt unwelcome. I asked a few simple questions because I’m unfamiliar with Ethiopian food, but the staff seemed bothered by me asking. This is possibly my idea of a perfect restaurant (minus soda on tap). The portions are ridiculous, the price per calorie is the best in town, and the food itself is *fantastic*. I’m honestly considering eating here every day.
