I called 20 minutes ahead to have 2 bagels with cream cheese to pick up. Should be really quick to do right? I arrive there and the order hasn’t even been made yet. What is the issues here? Maybe understaffed, hire another employee maybe. So I leave because I was in a time crunch to make a train without anything and as I walk out, I trip over a huge brick they have holding the door open. So if you don’t want a meal and then risk falling or tripping over a brick, stay far away from this place!
I’ve been coming here on and off for years. I say on and off because this place has always had service related issues but, I get it. It’s a tough industry and the morning rush can be difficult. The other bagel place seems to have this issue, but whatever. I’ve been here early in the morning when they ship the bagels in. That always bothers me as a life long Long Islander but OK I get it, it’s a lot to actually make the dough. At least they boil and bake them here. But now I’m done.
