I have no idea how or why there are so many bitter reviews. I have been to Dr. Badwal for two extractions and implants. Both times his work was flawless in execution and, somehow, I had no pain afterward - didn't even need ibuprofen. Unparalleled skill in his field. I highly recommend this oral surgeon, and this opinion comes from a highly critical person.

Worst Practice ever. I took my son to him for an impacted tooth extraction. The guy is scary. Day of extraction my son was on Antibiotics. We wanted to make Badwal aware of this. He came in screaming and almost threw the stethoscope at my son. I am not sure how I kept from reacting. Anyway, the office gave me an appt. Card with the date and location of southbury. I showed up to a locked office. They blamed me, well what about the appt card? Anyway the follow was canceled and both my son and I were kind of relieved that we di... read more

Dr. Badwal's office is a challenge to reach. Calling during business hours often brought me to voicemail or, at best, on hold for a lengthy amount of time. Their office lost my initial appointment, saying it wasn't possible that I had made the appointment for that time (which was a Friday) and instead I must've made it for the following Monday. Which I absolutely did not because I work that day. When I rescheduled, I called the office the morning of my appointment to confirm the office location and when I did they told me th... read more

Before you see Dr. Badwal, make sure you find out if he is in your health insurance network. Even though I filled out all of the forms online ahead of time, his staff neglected to tell me that I would have to pay everything up front out of pocket and submit it to my own insurance company for possible reimbursement. Since I am currently unemployed, it's not like I have tons of money to spend without being able to plan for it.

I am a pt of Dr. Badwal and I don't have anything bad to say about his services. Just something I witnessed in his waiting room that was disturbing. His employees at the front desk are college students. So it's not the most professional set up. Half the time they mess up appts, billing, and msgs. Anyway few days ago, I had an appt, in the small waiting room there was another pt with her cute 3 yr old. He was basically minding his own business, busy w/moms phone. The kids at the front desk started throwing an apple at each ot... read more

I took my son to this dr. for removal of one impacted tooth. He convinced my 18 yr old to have all 4 removed, which was not nec. I agreed reluctantly. The day of the procedure, he was disgustingly rude. We tried to tell him that he was in Antibiotics, didn't care, wanted to be done and out. Very nice the time before when he was trying to drum up business from us. Told us he was in a bad mood, low staff. That's not my problem. Really this is how you run your practice. Pls don't use this doctor.

In August of 2017 my 10 year old son had 2 teeth removed as part of his orthodontic treatment plan. During the procedure he had the CROWN OF A HEATHY TOOTH DESTROYED. When told about the damaged tooth, Roger Badwal did not take accountability. His immediate response was to remove the root without any discussion or consultation with our family or any other dental professionals. After some additional research, our family decided to refuse his offer to remove the remaining root. We discovered the removal of the root of a child’... read more

Dr. Badwal is awesome! My last wisdom tooth was coming in and I had an infection that had me in a world of pain. He squeezed me in on a Monday, caught the infection right away (something a different dentist I had seen a few days earlier had missed) and took two of my wisdom teeth out that Wednesday. Besides the normal discomfort, I actually felt better after the procedure than I did before and was so grateful that Dr. Badwal could do the procedure so quickly.
