A month ago I visited this place. We ordered Bangalore Donne biryani and Mangalore chicken ghee roast. Both were delicious. If you want to have authentic Karnataka food, this is the place. The owner said they are opening a new branch and add more things to the menu. Must try. Avarekai biryani was great as well.
Was visiting the Austin area for the first time and decided to look up for some Indian food and this option came up. Was surprised to find that this place prepared Donne biriyani, which is very unique to southern Karnataka, amongst other dishes. So decided to give it a visit. Absolutely loved Badoota Austin! Their mutton biryani is packed with flavor, the ghee roast is rich and perfectly spiced, and the Coorg chicken is a must-try — full of authentic taste. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Easily one of the best-tasting South Indian spots in Austin. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved the Karnataka style Donne biryani here. So tasty and just like back home! Chicken kabab, chilli chicken, and chicken ghee roast were also superb!
The food here takes me back home and it’s authentic Bangalore style Donne biryani. The flavor and taste is impeccable. The appetizers were so tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It’s a cloud kitchen so you can either take out or there are a few tables and chairs and you can definitely eat there as well. The owner Jaya cooks herself so it’s very authentic and flavorful.
