These guys [Lee (owner) and DJ (Technician)] are fantastic! We were on a 6000 mile road trip and down to the last 2000 miles when we discovered we had a bent axle on our camper. We got to their shop 5 minutes before closing and they stayed over to understand our problem. After understanding our problem and knowing we were in the middle of a trip, they said to bring it in the next morning and they would work us in. Had a small axle failure on the way to WA from KY. We called around, and all local shops were also quite helpful and landed on Badlands Trailers. It was super close to closing, and 2 of the guys, Lee and DJ, wanted to help us get back on the road. (Currently sitting at a restaurant waiting to pick it up) In a situation like this, it would have been easy for them to say that the axle was not repairable and had us purchase a new one. Lee and DJ got my 38’ fifth wheel in and out same day on a Monday after a 1700 mile trip. Glad I got referred to these guys from another shop in town. Saved me from an axle purchase and down time, as previously diagnosed by other shop.
Awesome company, great mechanics/welders, fast and friendly service. Their mascot Atlas is the nicest big boi.
Traveling through North Dakota with brakes grinding. We called many places of which none could schedule to repair us sooner than 2 weeks. Badlands Trailers were able to rearrange their schedule understanding we needed to get back on the road. They fixed all 4 brake assembles in the same day before 5 pm! D.H. and Lee were friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and honest, did what they promised. At a reasonable price.
