On my first visit l wanted to try the ribs but they were out so l tried the brisker and thought it was very good as well as the portions were good. the bad thimg was an over 30 min wait for my wifes and my meal plus they were out of corn bread.
This is the best BBQ in California.. I love this place... the sausage is the best then brisket and pulled pork are close second... the wait staff is awesome, warm and inviting (and not ugly)... Greg, you out did yourself... best of luck on the Saloon
Good BBQ Food the frys are awesome to. I had the trio with brisket.
Had seen Badlands on "Let's Dine Out", they gave it good reviews, husband & I last night, we will be going back. got there in time for Happy Hour made him happy, we did order the deep fried pickles/jalepanos, he said Jalepanos Not hot enough, pickles good. he had Pulled pork he liked it---so they have our vote
I had the brisket, roasted corn on the cob, bacon jalapeño mac and cheese with cornbread. the brisket was tender n tasty on its own but I added the bbq sauce--the habanero is my fav. I tasted the wings and they were good as well. this was my first time and I'd go back JUST for the bacon jalapeño mac and cheese!
I'm not a big beef eater, my husband is ! That being said...this is my new favorite !
Out with my husband running errands today and decided to try it. We will be back! Service is great. The good is awesome! And they have a bar!
Badlands BBQ catered my daughter's wedding - Jose and Jenny Laszlow this past Sunday. They served an amazing buffer of tri-tip, chicken, vegetable medley, jalapeño Mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, and corn bread. Food was tasty and plentiful! Unbelievable flavor treat!
