History Established in 1887. Our company was founded in 1887, six years after the great Chicago Fire, to help churches protect their property. After the ravages of the fire, many insurance companies refused to ensure churches with large steeples or charged the owners unbelievably high rates, as large steeples attracted lightning. They could lower rates if they cut down on the paperwork. Wasted second notices after check is already cashed!!
Getting a hold of them is next to impossible. They are very slow to respond to voicemail and flat out don't bother responding to email. I've been trying to cancel a policy on a place I sold for 3 weeks now and they have been unable to do it. Soon I'll be past due (doing monthly payments while place was on the market), and now I have to worry about the "late payment" affecting my credit since they can't do their jobs. You'll likely want to look elsewhere for your insurance needs.
