I bought a Lund 165 Angler several months ago from Badger Marine. When I started my boat search, I was told by people to go to Prairie de Chein or Green Bay. Bought a boat from Badger Marine over 12 years ago. Have done nothing to the boat like I was supposed to since I bought it. Took it in for service to 2 other dealers and was told the motor was shot for one guy and the motor was just to old form the other. Called Badger Marine and they said. Just bring it in. Still waiting I called them to set up a time to bring in my 2017 tym tractor for a 50 hour fluid change. Talked with someone and she said she will have Dale call back . However days later nothing. So I stopped in to talk about it and they said they will set up something and get back to me next week to pickup the tractor. THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO! Have still not heard nothing. HORRIBLE SERVICE after sale! The old man owner told me to get an attorney after my brand new tractor had a leak and leaked all over my blacktop and concrete. Now its broke again and the son of the business sends me a letter saying that don't want me around anymore. DONT BUY HERE. TRUST THE REVIEW!!!!!
Being a first-time customer of this business I went in to purchase a part for my newly acquired mercury boat. The parts manager was completely rude to me and even his coworkers while I was there. They were very unfriendly and very unhelpful with any questions that I had regarding parts and installation. I felt as though I wasn't a "regular" so they wouldn't even bother giving me the time of day. If you aren't a regular, I wouldn't bother bringing your business to them. They failed Customer Service 101.
I have worked with Badger on a number of occations, including purchasing a lift cover and winterizing my boat. I have asked them to make trips to the boat and lift location and have always gotten a positive response. I would definitely recommend Badger Marine for your boating and boat lift and pier needs.
Purchased a boat from Badger - motor was a total lemon. You'd think that if you spend twenty some odd thousand dollars that they'd fix the problems. They did not. Their service was incompetent every step of the way. Do yourself a favor and avoid this poor excuse for a business.
