Pod Homes worked hard to help make our Prayer Mountain dreams a reality! From start to finish, they delivered a smooth, efficient, and high-quality building experience. We signed up with Backyard Pod in July 2024 to build a one bedroom apartment and paid a lot of money (>$32,000 in July and September) . It is now February 2025, has been over six months since making the first payment, and no construction has commenced. Two project managers have turned over…now onto the third. Backyard Pod came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The staff and team were responsive and professional. Being able to see the finished product on display was also a game-changer, because we could see the options ahead of time. The pod was completed on time, and is an absoutely stunning office. The whole family is delighted.
We could not be happier with our backyard pod. The entire team from start to finish was great to work with and always accomodating to all our questions along the way. They are highly customizable so you can have it fit your backyard space how you'd like. After working remote in my pod for the past couple of months some key things really stand out: 1) sound proofing is better than our house 2) the space feels so much bigger due to all the natural light 3) the hi-tech door lock and smart lights are great
We recently completed our Pod 12 build to accommodate the need for a secondary in-home office space. The team was thorough, detailed and ON SCHEDULE for the duration of our project. We admired the efficiency and cleanliness of the team during the build and our project manager Forrest stayed on top of communication throughout. We could not recommend BYP more for anyone in the Austin area considering an external expansion, ADU or general flex space.
