My dad bought a car. He hasn't received it as I asked them to hold it because he was having brain surgery. He is currently in ICU critically ill. I opened a dispute with PayPal and contacted them by phone and email requesting a refund. After initially receiving no response, the seller called me and refused to refund the payment. I’m not stopping until my dad gets his money back. This is not buyer’s remorse. They still have the car and the title, my dad never took possession, and they are refusing to return the $1,100.

I got told by a few people to never buy a car online from somebody a thousand miles away but after calling the owner I came to the conclusion that things would probably fine. I bought a Chevy Impala in the spring of 2023 and had it delivered (broker) to CA by the summer. There were hardly any hiccups and the car was in the exact shape as advertised. Not getting scammed was so refreshing I had to take the time to give 5 stars
