Loved the live music went with the 3 meat combo with an extra pork lion on the side. Will say hands down the best I’ve had!! Will take another 14 hour trip just to have that kind of BBQ again.
Some of the best BBQ ever. Hubby had pork ribs and brisket, neither were dry at all. Both were tender and tasty. Tater salad and coleslaw slaw were good. I had jalapeño sausage and turkey. Same. Both were juicy and tasty. Add in jalapeños, pickles, white bread and a modelo. Great lunch, atmosphere and musician sang Jerry Jeff from the heavens. Oh and pinto were spot on! Thanks Backwoods! Staff is friendly.
Locals love and tourists would crave!!! 10/10 recommend! Visiting from San antonio for the weekend and asked a local for some good spots and man this place did not disappoint AT ALLLLL!! We had their special friday steak night meal it was enough for two!! But soooo good the other couple had two meat plates and they raved about the cheesy green beans and meat options! Get their early, it was a packed house!! I look forward to coming back just to enjoy their friendly staff and delicious food.
Highly recommend this place, clean, roomy, good service, great food, an awesome playlist, plenty of parking, and tables outside for those few great weather days.
