We bake and slice our meat in our on-site kitchen. The bread is baked fresh in town and delivered daily. We are famous for deli style sandwiches, hot roast beef, pastrami and corned beef, as well as cold turkey, ham & tuna salad. I’ve been coming here since the 70s. I never get tired of it this special place and lots of my friends feel the same way. It just has such a great vibe. For years I lived in San Diego, up and down the beach communities, in Burbank and Santa Clarita. Any time I could get to Riverside I always made it a point to have lunch at the Backstreet. It always feels like coming home.
