I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with OpenLane. Every time I buy a vehicle, I end up with serious title problems. The titles always arrive late, and when they finally do, they’re missing very important documents. Update: The company has been making a sincere effort to address my recent concerns. They covered the cost of transporting a $100 vehicle across state lines ($1100), which I truly appreciate. We’re not completely in the clear yet as the policy is still in place, scary to purchase anything far away now, and things can still get out of hand, though I’m hopeful everything will be sorted out so we can move forward together.
