I had the best day at this beautiful little slice of heaven. I was up in Pagosa Springs playing music and I was supposed to play here at Pedro’s Ranch, but unfortunately it was dumping rain so we canceled the gig. Nikki was so kind to put us up for the weekend as I had other shows in town and we couldn’t have had a more cozy and comfortable experience. Breathtaking experience that was worth every penny! Recent 4 hour trail ride to Poison Park on our honeymoon took us to some of the most beautiful valleys and luscious overlooks i have ever seen. Our guide, Duke, had fantastic finesse with the animals and people, was very knowledgeable, and even saved my hat when a tree snagged it. Very sweet, trustworthy horses too! Our ride with Becca at Backcountry Outfitters was truly unforgettable. My 16-year-old daughter and I did the four-hour trail ride along the stunning Piere River trail, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip.
