This place is absolutely adorable and such a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is truly divine, and every detail makes the experience feel special. The owners are incredibly sweet, and the staff is so friendly and attentive. You can really feel the care and passion that goes into this place. It has such a lovely vibe and is probably one of Montrose’s best-kept secrets. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!
Totally unexpected find in generally sleepy Montrose! Delighted we found Backbone after living here for 15 years and missing having an elevated meal close by. We shared one appetizer (corn agnolotti) and two entrees (NY strip and ribeye, tai snapper) and all of the food was delicious. The corn agnolotti was al dente and a mix of sweet (corn) and buttery and lemony (sauce). Worst controller ever, doesn’t work with most recent generations of iphone, couldn’t get it ti sync, couldn’t get refund. Trash company imo
What can I say I found this dining experience very disappointing. We ordered the Uni and the tuna tartere for starters. The Uni is a very strong, acquired taste that I personally didn't like but I also didn't experience any of the unique flavor profile the waitress described.
