Cool, relaxing atmosphere. Superior bartenders who appreciate the art of a cocktail. I'd go here every night if I could!
Loved this bar.... Tucked away like a best kept secret!!! Fantastic drinks, great food and loved the cozy industrial atmosphere. Backbar could easily be my "regular spot" if I lived in Boston. Will definitely be back on my travels here.

It was the first time I left alone in the US, I can say that in Boston I did not feel alone. Backbar has a great service and wonderful drinks. I got lost a little because it is very discreet the bar entrance. Tip take the right Bronwyn Restaurant, right to the funds. Thank you guys.
Great entertainment watching the bartenders put together and explain all the interesting and unique cocktails. Dan and Melinda, to name just two, make Backbar a worthwhile stop for anyone in the Union Square area of Somerville.
