The best fast food choice – Ah, such a refreshing change from the greasy soy burgers that get served at most fast food chains. The selection is great and the prices are resonable. The quality is that of a sit down restaurant with the value and convenience of fast food.
Thumbs Up - Recommended – This place is a giant step up from any fast food chain. It's equal to the restaurant chains like Fridays, etc - except you don't pay their prices. I find their prices are resonable - you can't expect to get quality meat & pay nothing extra. They have many optional toppings(unlike chains where the choice is cheese or no cheese). So you don't have to have the same burger over & over. I go to the one on OBT around the FL MALL. They have in door seating and serve your food after you placed & payed for y... read more
burgerman – Very good Will go back every chance I get.Have to drive 40 miles to get there.
Stray from the golden arches to this homespun burger shop. – The Scene In the mood for a burger but want a change from the golden arches? Try one of the area's successful, homegrown entrepreneurial efforts at Back Yard Burgers. Though BYB started with drive-through service only, in recent years the company has added casual, in-house dining as well. The Food Big, juicy hamburgers come any way you like them. Blackened, lemon and barbecued versions of the tasty chicken breasts are always fresh and flavorful. Fries come waffled ... read more
This Mississippi-born fast-food chain aims to bring the nostalgic flavor of back-yard barbecues to the masses. – The Scene A box with two car lanes and a window for pedestrians. There's nothing but outdoor seating--seven concrete table-and-bench combos under tilted metal umbrellas. The Food Assembled to order off a six-foot grill, or at least hot out of the holding pan. Owner Sherry High says the franchise never pre-cooks or pre-packs; it anticipates demand based on projection charts. Third-of-a-pound burgers have a satisfyi... read more
All around bad food!!! – Back Yard Burger's food in the past few years has went sharply down. A few years ago, they used fresh meat, but now going to the precooked patties, the food is awful.
The Real Scoop – The reason for such varying reviews is simple. This is a franchise that has seen better days. I've eaten at several Back Yard Burgers and the results have become predictable. In some parts of town, the food is terrific. In others, cold with bad service and a shadow of it's former self.
B-yard burgers is great! – a little chain-y, but well worth it. Much better than Dyers or any of the real fast-food chain places
not at all – It may be under 20 buck, however, fast food should be. The food is good, however, it's a splurg to eat there.
Back Yard Burgers has a 3.9 star rating with 354 reviews.
Back Yard Burgers is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
