They were growing ok until they dried even if I poured water on a daily basis. For $10 I could buy two packs of organic oyster mushrooms.

I will always be a giant kid at heart. And growing stuff in a box on the window ledge is one of the best nods to my inner child. Although it did take a little longer than the box projected, the wait was well worth it and I'm as excited as Christmas. Now....what to do with all these mushrooms!

I grew the mushrooms. They took a long time to grow. I had to end up laying the box down and that's when I started to see them really grow. I am going to try them this evening in a stir fry with chicken and other organic veggies.
